The qualification holder will be able to:

  • demonstrate theoretical knowledge of the content of the subjects making up the master's degree programme,
  • correctly evaluate individual elements of the subject and other issues with related content,
  • critically evaluate new information from this field, and also the sources that contain it,
  • study, administer and manage matters relating to 'EU external relations',
  • study, administer and manage matters relating to 'European integration law',
  • autonomously develop knowledge acquired through individual work during the course of studies and, in the context of needs in the workplace, after graduation,

  • study, administer and manage matters relating to the external, security and defence policy of the EU, the international economic relations of the EU, economic cooperation with the countries of Eastern Europe, economic contracts between EU enterprises and enterprises outside the EU, EU territorial and cross-border cooperation, and the diplomatic and consular service of the EU,
  • study, administer and manage matters relating to knowledge of the EU legal order and decision-making in the Union, with the legal principles and economic policy of the EU internal market, with European economic law, with the labour market in the EU, with migrations and asylum policy, with judicial protection in the EU with an emphasis on the protection of business relations and energy security, climate change and environmental protection in the EU,
  • study, administer and manage matters relating to knowledge of the EU legal order in the field of democracy in the position of individuals in European integrations and EU policy and law on the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race, national origin and religion.

Assesment and completion:

Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Progress:

In order to progress, students must have completed course units totalling at least 38 ECTS credits from the range of first-year subjects, where examinations in the following subjects are compulsory: The Legal Order of the EU and Decision-Making in the Union, Legal Principles and Economic Policy of the EU Internal Market, Elective Subject I.
