Candidate:

  • plans, prepares, implements and controls its own work in designing websites,
  • rationally uses time and other resources to design a website,
  • a systematic approach to finding solutions to problems that arise,
  • participates in the group and leads the website design team,
  • effectively uses computer tools and monitors new software tools and their development,
  • cooperates with clients in defining and performing tasks related to website design,
  • restores and updates the graphic image of websites.

Evaluator:

Verification and assessment are carried out by committees for the verification and validation of national vocational qualifications, appointed by the National Examination Centre (NEC). Committee members must be licensed by the National Examination Centre. Licences may be found here.

Assessment method

  • The content of the assessment is determined by the commission for the assessment and certification of knowledge and skills on the basis of a preliminary assessment of the candidate's portfolio, which necessarily includes the candidate's product - the graphic concept of the website on CD.
  • In the practical task, the candidate demonstrates mastery of tools for graphic processing of materials for web pages and / or tools for web design and mastery of work with existing web pages (evaluation, graphic improvement, inclusion of elements).
  • The oral defense includes a presentation and explanation of the submitted websites and practical assignments, as well as open thematic questions, where the candidate proves knowledge and understanding of professional content.

Awarding body:

Providers of procedures for identifying and validating NVQs are entered in a register of providers maintained in the collection of the national information centre for vocational qualifications. These are: vocational schools, businesses, B2B training centres, adult education centres and chambers of commerce.
