At least three years of work experience, which includes:

  • at least 3 years of work experience in managing, coordinating or organizing the work of work groups and
  • at least 1 year of work experience in the field of digital accessibility.

The candidate demonstrates work experience with authentic documents (e.g.: contracts, letters of reference, reports on the work performed with the signature of the responsible person, proof of student work, etc.), which show the time and content of the work performed.
 
The candidate can demonstrate the required work experience in the same or different time periods.

Learning outcomes:

The candidate is able to:

  • monitor, analyze, propose content and technical solutions or improvements to the accessibility of the organization's digital content,
  • receive and transmit information about the status of ensuring digital accessibility and monitor the processes and quality of accessibility of the organization's digital content,
  • use the hardware, software and services to enforce digital accessibility regulations that they need in their work;
  • prepare technical and substantive documentation, work plans and internal policies for ensuring digital accessibility in accordance with professional standards, current regulations and the principles of rational use of human and material resources,
  • lead, coordinate and participate in work groups and document the work done,
  • follow the organization's values, make others aware of innovations and responsibilities in the field of digital accessibility, and act ethically and in accordance with the sustainable development of society,
  • cooperate with competent and technical colleagues in planning the installation, management and maintenance of hardware and software information and communication equipment and services for ensuring digital accessibility and implement the plan,
  • coordinate the provision of assistance to users and the implementation of assistance,
  • comply with safety and environmental standards and regulations at work.

Evaluator:

Verification and assessment are carried out by committees for the verification and validation of national vocational qualifications, appointed by the National Examination Centre (NEC). Committee members must be licensed by the National Examination Centre. Licences may be found here.

Assesment and completion:

VALIDATION

During the guidance process the candidate prepares a portfolio,  which is assessed by a committee. If the portfolio submitted by the candidate contains  authentic, valid and adequate proof of the knowledge,  skills and competences defined in the occupational standard, the committee may:

  • validate the contents of the occupational standard in full,  
  • validate the contents of the occupational standard in part and define the  knowledge, skills and competence to be verified,  
  • refuse to validate any of the contents of the occupational standard because  the candidate has not provided proof of any of the knowledge, skills and competences  defined in the occupational standard, in which case it will verify  the occupational standard in full.  

METHODS OF VERIFICATION OF VOCATIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • written test (intended to test knowledge of legislation and regulations, technical standards of digital accessibility, theoretical knowledge in the field of digital accessibility needs of persons with various disabilities, etc.) and
  • practical examination with oral defence

The candidate first takes a written test, on which he must score at least 60%.

Candidates demonstrate attainment of the knowledge, skills and competences defined in the catalogue of standards of vocational knowledge and skills.

Providers of procedures for identifying and validating NVQs are entered in a register of providers maintained in the collection of the national information centre for vocational qualifications. These are: vocational schools, businesses, B2B training centres, adult education centres and chambers of commerce.
