Learning outcomes:

The general competences that The qualification holder acquires during the study programme are in-depth knowledge of ecosystems and the ability to plan and manage environmental resources taking into account the requirements of the territory.

In the study programme, qualification holders acquire specific competences in analysis and management of resources related to terrestrial and marine systems, in environmental impact assessment, in analysis and control of pollution, in planning activities related to sustainable development, in integrated coastal zone management and in proper territorial planning, in order to reduce the risk to the environment.

Assesment and completion:

Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Progress:
Students can progress to the second year of study when they fulfill all study obligations in the amount of at least 30 credit points.
