23rd Meeting of the European Transparency Tools Group

On Friday, 23 October 2026, the 23rd meeting of the European Transparency Tools Group took place at the KULT316 Centre for Culinary Arts and Tourism in Ljubljana. The meeting focused on current activities and future developments in the fields of qualifications, the recognition of education and skills, quality assurance, career guidance and mobility.

Representatives of national and European networks and initiatives presented the latest developments and activities in their respective fields, including the Slovenian Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework (SQF–EQF), Europass, Euroguidance, ENIC-NARIC, EQAVET, ReferNet and National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs).

An important part of the meeting was dedicated to effectively communicating European information in the national context. During a lecture and workshop, Dr Nenad Vladić explored key aspects of effective communication and encouraged participants to reflect on how European information can be made more accessible to different target groups and effectively applied in practice.

The meeting helped strengthen inter-institutional cooperation, promote the exchange of professional experience and good practices, and foster closer links between European initiatives and national needs in the fields of education and skills development.
