  • Completed first level study programme in relevant professional fields or
  • completed first level study programme in other professional fields, if the candidate has completed the study obligations that are essential for the continuation of studies before enrollment; these obligations are determined according to the diversity of the professional field and range from 10 to a maximum of 60 credit points, and candidates can take them during their first level studies, in further training programmes or by taking exams before enrolling in a master's study programme.

  • knowledge and understanding of the basic bio-psycho-social characteristics of sports and fitness training of the elderly, people with certain chronic diseases, people with acute and / or chronic injuries and people with movement disabilities, especially those that are important in terms of specific physical activity or sports exercises,
  • knowledge of health risks associated with exercise in the elderly, people with certain chronic diseases, people with acute and / or chronic injuries and people with mobility impairments,
  • knowledge of key targeted sports and fitness exercises for the elderly, people with certain chronic diseases, people with acute and / or chronic injuries and people with mobility impairments,
  • knowledge of the organization of sports and exercise of groups of the elderly, people with certain chronic diseases, people with acute and / or chronic injuries and people with mobility impairments,
  • planning, organizing and implementing a programme of sports and fitness training for the elderly, people with certain chronic diseases, people with acute and / or chronic injuries and people with mobility impairments,
  • practical applications of theoretical concepts of sports training of the elderly, persons with certain chronic diseases, persons with acute and / or chronic injuries and persons with movement impairments.

Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

To progress from the first year to the second year, a student must collect 54 ECTS credits per year.

Third-cycle doctoral study programmes (SQF level 10)

The student completes his / her studies when he / she completes all the obligations prescribed by the study programme and thus collects 120 ECTS.
