The qualification holder is qualified to:
(general competences)
- develops critical, analytical and synthetic thinking,
- defines, understands and creatively addresses professional challenges in computer and information science fields,
- shares knowledge, technical understanding and written expression in native language and one foreign language,
- searches for sources and critically assesses information,
- respects security, functional, economic and environmental protection principles,
- uses acquired knowledge to independently resolve technical and scientific problems relating to computer and information science, and enhances previous knowledge, and
- works in a professional group.
(subject-specific competences)
- possesses basic theoretical and practical computer and information science knowledge and skills,
- understands and integrates computer and information science knowledge in other relevant technical and vocational fields (e.g. electrical engineering, medicine, etc.),
- possesses practical knowledge and skills in the application of computer and information technologies,
- independently performs less complex and complex developmental engineering tasks in more specific areas, and independently resolves specific, well-defined tasks in other areas relating to computer and information science, and
- is capable of continuing studies in the second cycle.
Completion of all examinations from the previous year. Additional conditions for enrolment in the second year include a systematic medical exam and an examination of students’ knowledge of the Slovene language for foreign students.
Second-cycle master's study programmes (SQF level 8)
To complete their studies, students must meet all requirements for all subjects (totalling 174 credits) and practical training, and submit and orally present a diploma thesis (6 credits).
