The candidate is able to:
- prepare the workplace and tools and accessories for the preparation and installation of loam plasters, non-load-bearing walls made of light loam, non-load-bearing walls made of loam and loam floors on a suitably prepared base for installation
- accept and review the technical documentation of the construction product and the work plan and plan your work or the work of a small group in accordance with it
- prepare loam or choose ready-made loam depending on the selected work process and installation method
- produce coarse, fine and decorative loam plaster, taking into account the properties of the base in accordance with the technical documentation and the client's/investor's wishes
- make load-bearing walls from light loam, loam and walking loam floors
- work in a team and properly document the team's work (in accordance with the requirements of regional construction legislation)
- observe safety and environmental standards and the principles of rational use of human and material resources at work
- follow the values of the business entity/economic company, use good business practices, act ethically and in accordance with the sustainable development of society
- handle material economically/sustainably and strive to prevent the creation of waste and understand the economic and environmental effects of reusing and recycling waste
- take into account the requirements of the service for the protection of cultural heritage when carrying out work on buildings and in cultural heritage areas and plan your work in accordance with them
- continuously monitor the quality of work procedures and the final quality of the products, while also taking into account the importance of the aesthetic appearance of the product
Verification and assessment are carried out by committees for the verification and validation of national vocational qualifications, appointed by the National Examination Centre (NEC). Committee members must be licensed by the National Examination Centre. Licences may be found here [2].
VALIDATION
During the guidance process the candidate prepares a portfolio, which is assessed by a committee. If the portfolio submitted by the candidate contains authentic, valid and adequate proof of the knowledge, skills and competences defined in the occupational standard, the committee may:
- validate the contents of the occupational standard in full,
- validate the contents of the occupational standard in part and define the knowledge, skills and competence to be verified,
- refuse to validate any of the contents of the occupational standard because the candidate has not provided proof of any of the knowledge, skills and competences defined in the occupational standard, in which case it will verify the occupational standard in full.
VERIFICATION METHOD
Practical assessment with oral defense.
Candidates demonstrate attainment of the knowledge, skills and competences defined in the catalogue of standards of vocational knowledge and skills.
Providers of procedures for identifying and validating national vocational qualifications are entered in a register of providers maintained in the relevant collection of the National Reference Point for Occupational Qualifications. Providers include: vocational schools, companies, inter-company training centres, adult education centres, chambers of commerce, etc.
