The candidate is able to:
- independently hand over the service and control one's own work;
- perform operator work and tasks in the protection of people and property, taking into account the law, implementing regulations, professional standards, internal regulations, the employer's instructions and the client's requirements;
- identify security risks and hazards and know prevention procedures in accordance with the rules of the profession;
- communicate with security staff, subscribers, users of security services, competent authorities and customers and be able to communicate appropriately in various life situations, crises and conflicts;
- use computer and other technical equipment of the security control center;
- to lead and organize the work of security staff in their performance of various forms of protection of people and property, taking into account the responsibilities of the security control center;
- to receive notifications on the use of measures and other security means and to inform the competent responsible persons and bodies (police);
- to supervise the procedures for the protection of security personnel in protected areas, the operation of technical security systems, communications and the control of the use of official vehicles;
- use and control the faultless use of equipment, technical security systems and information and communication technology;
- implement measures to ensure their own safety, health and environmental safety and fire safety in accordance with regulations and internal rules.
Verification and assessment are carried out by committees for the verification and validation of national vocational qualifications, appointed by the National Examination Centre (NEC). Committee members must be licensed by the National Examination Centre. Licences may be found here [2].
VALIDATION
During the guidance process the candidate prepares a portfolio, which is evaluated by a committee. If the candidate has submitted authentic, valid and relevant proof of knowledge, skills and competences from the operational standard, the committee may:
- validate the contents of the occupational standard in full,
- validate the contents of the occupational standard in part and define the knowledge, skills and competence to be verified,
- refuse to validate any of the contents of the occupational standard because the candidate has not provided proof of any of the knowledge, skills and competences under the occupational standard, in which case it will verify the occupational standard in full.
ASSESSMENT METHOD
The assessment takes place in writing (lasts 60 minutes), orally and practically by oral defense.
Candidates demonstrate attainment of the knowledge, skills and competences defined in the catalogue of standards of vocational knowledge and skills.
Providers of procedures for identifying and validating national vocational qualifications are entered in a register of providers maintained in the relevant database of the National Reference Point for Occupational Qualifications. Providers include: vocational schools, companies, inter-company training centres, adult education centres, chambers of commerce, etc.
